Warren is a Chartered Accountant who served his articles by Arthur Young & Company until 1986. He then worked for the Astra Group as Financial Director before joining RMB Properties in 1989.

He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of RMB Properties in 2004 and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Eris Property Group in June 2008. Warren retired as Chief Executive Officer in late 2019.

Warren has extensive experience in property investment, property portfolio management, and associated aspects such as finance, and development and has served as a board member of various listed property companies. He also has extensive property experience in Africa and serves as a director of the Momentum Africa Real Estate Fund, and several companies associated with Eris in Mauritius, Ghana, Botswana, Namibia, and Malawi.

Warren also served as President of SAPOA in 2009/2010.

Barend is well qualified with a distinguished career in all aspects of property development and investment.  After obtaining his academic qualifications, he worked as a quantity surveyor in South Africa and the United Kingdom, after which he moved on to pursue a career in property development and investment.

His previous employers include Grothaus du Plessis Partnership in Pretoria, South Africa, Silk & Frazier Partnership, London, United Kingdom and RMB Properties (Pty) Ltd.  He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for Eris Property Group (Pty) Ltd and is a core member of the management team invested in the business.  He serves as director of numerous property development and investment companies.

Barend is passionate about property on the African continent and believes that commercial real estate is an exciting way for investors to support and participate in the rise of the African consumer.

Clair Mathe- Lisenda has over 18 years of experience in investment management. She joined Botswana Insurance Fund Management (Bifm) in 2022 where she currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Bifm she was the Managing Director at iPro Botswana. She has previously served as General Manager – Investments at Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF) and Portfolio Manager at African Alliance.
Ms Mathe-Lisenda holds an MSc in Business with Finance from the University of Essex (UK), a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – University of Witwatersrand (RSA), and a Bachelor of Commerce – University of Witwatersrand (RSA). She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charter holder.
